About the event
This family friendly pizza and beer 1-mile race is put on by the PR Foundation. The PRFoundation created this charitable sports run to support the community of the greater Cedar Rapids area.
This year the PRFoundation will be donating all the proceeds from the Need A Pizza & Beer Run to Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids!
Even though the PR Foundation was founded by Robert Kabakoff of Chicago and "Panini" Pete Blohme of Alabama, they feel wherever there is an event that their cause can support, that money can be used in the community! PR Foundation board member and Need Pizza co-owner, Bob Wagner along with Meg McMullen PR Foundation board member are spearheading the organization of the event.
