How We Crusade

Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids is a 501c3, all volunteer non-profit organization that has been in operation since 2008 and is made up of a Board of Directors and volunteers.

Critter Crusaders provides advanced medical and surgical treatment with life and limb saving procedures to restore health and adoptability for the local homeless animals. We also work with rescues and shelters to facilitate placements for homeless animals as an alternative to euthanasia.

In order to meet the ongoing needs of our animals, Critter Crusaders depends on the generosity of our donors and the many fundraising activities throughout the year. Through our partnerships with vet hospitals and rescue organizations, both locally and out-of-state, we have established relationships based on trust. These relationships directly impact the lives of homeless animals that would not normally have access to care or rescue options.

Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids has made a dramatic difference in the lives of many animals. Pets that would have been euthanized are now living happy, healthy lives with families that love them!

Our passion is seeing suffering give way to health, hope, and a happy home.
